New Det-Pad Range
Developed at the request of the user community, Det-Pads provide a way of working near detonators with minimised fragmentation risk.
Detonators and the plastic moulded connectors for detonating cord are sources of fragmentation. For some specialist roles such as explosive breaching/ EMOE the circumstances can dictate that the operator is within range of this fragmentation.
Det-Pads mitigate the blast and massively reduce the energy of the fragmentation without impeding the function of the explosive elements contained within.
