SJH Projects was in attendance at the Institute of Explosives Engineers conference ‘Fulmination 2025’ in Nottingham – nice and local. This is a great, high level technical conference spanning the varied sectors that make up the industry in the UK. Steve Holland was able to present on ‘How to Blow up a Vehicle‘ which covered the history and intricacies of the NATO document AEP55 Volume 2. Very good conference gala dinner for which the guest speaker was Mandy Hickman – the first female Tornado GR4 pilot. The second evening followed up on a talk from earlier that day on the use of display drones with added pyrotechnics. With 120 drones a very clever was put on for us all. Not quite sure what the students on the campus of Nottingham University would have made of it all. Fulmination is organised by the Institute of Explosive Engineers.
