SJH Projects was in attendance at the Institute of Explosives Engineers conference ‘Fulmination 2025’ in Nottingham – nice and local. This is a great, high level technical conference spanning the varied sectors that make up the industry in the UK. Steve Holland was able to present on ‘How to Blow up a Vehicle’ which covered the history and intricacies of the NATO document AEP55 Volume 2. Very good conference gala dinner for which the guest speaker was Mandy Hickman – the first female Tornado GR4 pilot. The second evening followed up on a talk from earlier that day on the use of display drones with added pyrotechnics. With 120 drones a very clever was put on for us all. Not quite sure what the students on the campus of Nottingham University would have made of it all.
