Under Pressure

We have recently completed the design phase for a novel blast/pressure containment vessel. This will allow the customer to perform research and proofing of their hardware. These items are pressurised, so the mechanism and consequences of failure have to be investigated – safely.

The chamber has configurable access ports for umbilical tables for the test items and the associated instrumentation. There is also an old school armoured glass (7.62 x 51mm rated) viewing port in the door.  The test items are loaded by means of a sliding platform to minimise manual handling. LED lighting and protected cameras can be magnetically mounted to the inside walls to meet the needs of the particular tests.
