High Speed Fun In The Range

Ballistic test, high speed apple

After the completion of a demanding test series some less critical targets were used for the high speed camera – mainly to demonstrate its capability.

As so many projects are carried out under confidential conditions we cannot always demonstrate the capability of SJH Projects and its partner companies. Using classic targets such as the apple and water filled balloon we can show how a high velocity bullet can be tracked and observe its effects in great detail.

The bullet shown is 7.62mm NATO ball. The filming was at 14,000 frames per second with selected images being shown in the associated gallery.

After future tests we may expand on the range of fruit and veg and become more exotic in our selection.
