Range of Surrogate Arms
The Frangible Surrogate Arm (FSA) builds on the technology employed in the NATO approved Frangible Surrogate Leg.
Now available, the Frangible Surrogate Arm will be used for investigation protection measures for deminers and for the evaluation of injuries in a vehicle blast event.
CT Scanning Imagery has been used as the basis of a CAD model for the FSA. This has then been modified to be compatible with the elbow joint of the 50th percentile Hybrid III ATD (Crash Test Dummy).
