Ballistics Effects Video is a You Tube Hit

One of the videos from the SJH Projects website suddenly becomes very popular on You Tube.

The videos on this website are hosted on You Tube which also affords people the opportunity to find them independently. Having been posted for about a year, the viewing figures for one of them have suddenly taken off. In the space of a month it has so far had over 130,000 hits.

Produced for a medical conference on ballistics and associated wound treatment, the video shows a sequence of increasingly powerful weapons against a consistent target – a 60 litre plastic water drum. This acted as a simple surrogate torso.

When preparing for the conference, we realised we had never seen a demonstration with a full range of weapons against a consistent target and so produced one ourselves. We found it useful and it would seem that many others have as well.
