Talking and Travelling

June and July saw a visit to Australia via Singapore.

In Singapore, following up on a number of parallel enquires, I gave a presentation to the DSTA at their Headquarters. Some really good questions and a chance for separate groups and individuals from the DSTA and Army to meet up. The level of questions shows that the defence of Singapore is in good hands.

Later, after some travelling around, I was able to present on the testing of armoured vehicles and brain injuries from ballistics and blast to the 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville – literally just before they deployed on Exercise ‘Talisman Sabre’ – the largest multi-national, multi-platform exercise held in and around Australia so far.
